Members from around the world will be able to take part in this year’s event that emphasizes safety and brings a renewed focus to specific issues. This year’s event theme emphasizes “Prevent, Prepare, Protect. Building Codes Save.” The weekly themes will include Energy and Innovation, Training the Next Generation, Water Safety, and Disaster Preparedness, corresponding to each week in May 2021. The ICC’s website provides many resources for contractors and advocates alike, including promotional materials for this year’s Building Safety Month and a Kids Corner featuring educational activities geared toward children.
